Discussion
The scope of this objects needs to be clarified. I assume it should exclude geographical (place names) or taxonomic terms (taxa, ranks, nomenclatural status). But does it include revision status, data availability/coding status or sex status? Does it include descriptive concepts, characters, states? Statistical measures? Also, in the TDWGOntology this is derived from (BaseThing) - I believe it is not a "thing" if I look up the work thing in a dictionary. -- GregorHagedorn - 24 May 2006Linking Topics
