Content

The exact date (and time) or beginning of a period representing the gathering event, expressed in a modified ISO/ANSI 8601 standard structured date format.

The collecting date of the sample as YYYYMMDD. Missing data (MM or DD) should be indicated with hyphens. Leading zeros are required. A FAO/IPGRI multi-crop passport descriptor (MCPD), description and examples taken from EURISCO descriptor list dated July 3, 2002.
